I imagine that writing a story, much like any form of creative expression, is a little like playing God. Our thoughts and imaginings are spun into a world of our making, populated with people who may have once existed, who are yet to exist, or do not exist at all.

We give these people thoughts, hopes, strengths, weaknesses, dreams, nightmares. We send them on quests, be they physical, emotional or mental, and bring them out the other side changed, for better or worse.

But what happens when the story is incomplete? If we, all of a sudden, lose inspiration, motivation to continue?

What happens when the story is mere pieces, rough drafts of disjointed scenes and viewpoints?

What happens to the characters, to the world we have brought into being?

I agree with everything that guy said, and add that I'm partially ADD/ADHD/IDK - plus my less-than-supportive household - and I can't help but fall behind. But I will never let that stop me. My New Years resolution will NOT be in vain!
